Bloodpoints are used to level up characters through the bloodweb. In the bloodweb you will find items and add ons to use in matches as well as perks to use (edited)

(I've only played a few times and I'm very bad at it!)
Did you get them to work? If not, what platform are you using and what message did you get after entering? If you're on Xbox, you may be making the same mistake that I used to make by thinking that you could click anywhere with A to redeem. If you don't actually click on "A Redeem", it takes you back to the previous screen without actually entering the code.
