I tried this a couple weeks back. It is absolutely disgusting! The "chicken" taste is bland. It more like a chopped up profiterole and the curry and rice are watery. The best one is Quorn Tikka Masala found in most supermarkets. STAY AWAY from this guys. (edited)

Hello Good People, I have a question.

Does this taste like chicken, or thereabouts? Is meant to taste like chicken?
    Srelapse's avatar
Yes it intended to taste like chicken.

The saying "you can't polish a turd" comes to mind, they do what they can with what they are given.

Most of the Aldi vegan range is banging. Try the spicy no chicken burger, or the no chicken nuggets. Even the no pork battered sausage is pretty good. This, however, is really not good. The chicken pieces don't have a chicken texture at all, which is weird because most other Aldi no chicken really does a good job of imitating a meaty texture. The pieces in this have a texture like deflated tofu. As another person says above, the sauce is watery and tasteless.
