Definitely not the worst
Bought this last week for £35 and having a lot of fun. They've switched up the traditional 8 gyms -> Pokemon League. There is a lot more to do.
The performance, however, is up there with the worst I have ever seen in a AAA game. It is unforgivable. If you can look past the truly horrendous performance, there is a fun Pokemon game here.
