    Top tip based on the first picture in this post. I find this cooks better if the coals have first been lit.

    This seems like a gimmick. Realistically how much benefit is there in a box full of ash looking like a briefcase? also after 1 use the paintwork would look awful and people would judge your flaky rusted briefcase. (edited)

    I have a similar one and it has lasted 2 summers so far. I take it apart after using and give it a good clean. It's great for 3-4 people and folds away nicely.
