    you are dreaming - when were rubber/vinyl coated olympic plates £1/kio i in the last decade (probably longer)? You are comparig to sand/concrete filled 1" bar bloated balloon weights. Does my nut in reading stuff like this, just pure ignorance

    A gym I used to go to had these and they were a nightmare for deadlifts as the bar would travel all over the place when the plates hit the floor.

    I know what you mean, but I use these for deadlifts and as long as you keep the flat bit on the floor they're OK.

    Got these back in Jan, same price except the 10s were 30 back then.

    Hard to beat this.
