"Sometimes 30, usually not
Let's move on to the graphics, the most technically demanding aspect of the implementation. After all, Nintendo hardware is clearly inferior to the three “big” platforms. And yet Guerrilla runs at more than 30 frames per second in performance mode - even if it's a long way from 60 and the frame rate even fluctuates drastically. It is therefore not a feast for the eyes, especially on large televisions, where the low resolution is also noticeable. However, it is a far better variant than the quality mode: although it shows clearer contours, the frame rate sometimes falls well below 30, which is why I don't enjoy this setting.
Only in handheld mode is the quality mode surprisingly stable, while the frame rate in performance mode is usually a little over 30, but is also subject to strong fluctuations. Unfortunately, KAIKO does not manage to achieve an overall clean implementation. At the same time, though, I have to say that - perhaps because the original on PS3 and Xbox 360 was already geared towards 30 frames - the Switch version doesn't leave a dramatically worse impression than the Re-Marstered editions on PC, PS4 and Xbox One."
