    You’re obviously ignorant to the fact that this game is completely new. It’s not a HD remake - check out the video gameplay, it’s quite literally amazing.

    It isn't a port or anything like that - that have taken the original game plan and rebuilt the game entirely - i think this is a fantastic move as Res Evil 2 was the best in some peoples eyes (1 is the best for me, then 2!)

    Think movie reboots - we now have the technoilogy to creaye these games in todays format. (edited)

    A full remake from the ground up is basically a new game with a similar storyline. Heard this will go more indepth and not a clone of the original.

    I'm all for it being a full priced title, considering the work they put into it.
    But a quick up Res of an old game and done for £40 is a joke. (edited)

    Not sure why the drama over the price, considering so much has changed its practically a new game. Runs on the RE7 engine too so I'll be grabbing this on pc for the graphics.

    Regardless I would have paid £40 for another remake. This was the best resident evil in the series! Actually a shame they took away the dodgy, awkward camera angles.

    He means the game engine, the graphics, voice acting etc is all brand new. The game will cost the exact same amount to make as a brand new entry in to the series. There will be additional areas to explore, some new characters and many of the puzzles are new or different. From the recent trailers it looks like some of the best graphics I have ever seen. Can't wait to play it and will be a day one purchase for me.

    take old game. upgrade graphics. how is this a new game? locations will change? story will change? if so then it wont be RE2.

    still waiting for hd/uhd first Silent Hill and first MGS, but wont pay £40 for it

    Been waiting for this remake for years!! Looks amazing from short clips …Been waiting for this remake for years!! Looks amazing from short clips I’ve watched as I don’t want to spoil it too much lol! RE 2 was my favourite back on PS1 must have finished it 25 or more times back in the day! To unlock Hunk mission and weirdest ever mission Tofu who had just the knife felt like such a huge accomplishment back then! Thanks OP ordered and heat added.


    Same here! Under 3 hrs to get the minigun with ∞ ammo. Absolutely loved that game! I was hoping the remake would be a polished version of the original but after seeing the footage I'm so hyped.

    I hope I live until January
