Recently been patched (literally 2 days after my comment) and matchmaking is vastly improved.
Worth a tenner, but every so often, an update comes along that leaves you underwhelmed with the bugs it brings.
We have it for all 3 systems and it's a lot smoother on the other 2, no question.
But portable Rocket League makes up for a lot.

I bought it for £15 a few days ago which is still cheaper than everywhere else. Its a really good game and well worth the £15 i spent

Cannot recommend this highly enough as a game. Great fun, simple to get to grips with, incredibly difficult to master but really rewarding when everything comes together and you pull a bicycle "kick" off 20 feet above the ground to score a goal from inside your own half. Picked it up on a whim, it's the only game I've got that comes close to Breath of the Wild for hours racked up.

Don't worry about it being a download. Digital is the way to go. This, like MarioKart, is one of those games you'll always want to have in your back pocket just in case an opportunity for multiplayer crops up. And at this price, resale value is a pittance anyway.

However, with the launch of Rocket Pass tomorrow - an ongoing series of rolling events to unlock cosmetic items, with a basic and premium pay-in level, I'm worried they're about to go Free-to-Play.

Matchmaking is now terrible, Epic can find 99 other players faster than Psyonic can find 1-7.
Starting to question the value of this game on this system.

this one doesn't have the Mario add on stuff does it?

Any reason not to buy from cheaper regions/stores, such as South Africa, and save a few quid?
There’re a couple of sites that compare region/store prices and show savings and lowest price.

Actually only downloaded this yesterday. Had no issues with connectivity at all and almost as smooth as the Xbox version.
