To put that into context, 4 days ago you had never heard of Longines.

A bit of a marmite watch for me. I like it, but I don't love it. For the Diameter of the watch, I find the face too small.

It's a nice watch, but the strap is absolutely the most useless rubbish thing ever. I have the PADI Solar tuna and STO Turtle which both have the same strap and it has the most useless keeper which doesn't keep anything, and the finish on the strap which is nice at first, rubs off very quickly.

The watch itself is great though providing the date is aligned on the one you recieve!

Damn it Seiko I love your watches but I hate you sometimes.

Never really liked the pepsi look of the PADI Solar Tuna. This save the ocean theme on the other hand gets it just about right. Black strap, blue tones on the bezel, subtle waves on the face. (edited)

I've got one here and the gold one, from recent sales. If i could be bothered spending another £150 on the steel shroud and strapcode engineer bracelet on the PADI I'd keep it but I think the Gold Tuna wins.

This pic was nicked from @watchjunkie99 on Instagram. I think it has the SNE518 with the same treatment to the right.

do these hold value well? for example if I bought it and used it for a year, wore now and then, what would the resale be like?

I like the watch but like someone also stated I dont love it but it might look nicer in person (edited)

Shouldn't Think you'd lose much on one of these. I bought the two other models last week assuming I could sell as new for what I paid.
