Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice GOTY Edition Xbox Series X/S EN Argentina VPN Needed @Gamivo / Xavorchi

From the developers of Dark Souls and Elden Ring - Sekiro: Shadows Die TwiceSekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a third-person action-adventure game from the creators of the Dark Souls series and Elden Ring, FromSoftware. In Sekiro, players will travel to the Sengoku period of Japan, right at the end of the 16th century, taking the role of a samurai warrior nearly killed in battle.

After our hero loses his arm in an attack on his lord, he has to regain honour by rescuing the kidnapped lord from the hands of an enemy samurai leader. Defeat tough enemies and unique bosses in this action-filled soulslike and help Sekiro save the Divine Heir.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice: key features:
  • Hardcore combat with a unique Posture system - kill enemies in a single deathly blow after breaking their balance and finding an opening
  • Explore the gorgeous 16th century Japan countryside, ravaged by war with an enemy clan
  • Regain strength and unlock powerful upgrades and abilities as you progress through the story
  • Use your unique prosthetic and special attacks to your advantage, decimating your foes
Kill your enemies and restore your honourFromSoftware changed the soulslike formula in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, creating an incredibly immersive and realistic combat system with a fantasy twist. You’ll need to learn how to effectively deflect and parry strikes of your opponents, and find ways to reduce their Posture in order to land a finishing Deathblow.

Sekiro’s combat system is intentionally hard to mater, but extremely rewarding - wrong timing will be punished with swift death at the hands of extremely difficult enemies, but nothing feels quite as satisfying as landing a perfect combo in Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice

Hardcore action-adventure gameplaySekiro: Shadows Die Twice received worldwide acclaim from critics and players, receiving 9/10 notes from most reviewers. The game also won the Game of the Year award at The Game Awards 2019, along with plenty of other prestigious titles.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice EditionsIf you want to play Sekiro, you can choose from two versions Standard and GOTY Edition.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Standard EditionContains the base game only.

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice GOTY Edition:
  • ALL DLCs,
  • Reflection and Gauntlet of Strength - new boss challenge modes,
  • Remnants - leave messages and recordings of your actions that other players can view and rate,
  • 3 unlockable cosmetic skins.

Is it really as hard as people say? I stayed away from the Souls games for years as I heard they were very difficult but played Bloodborne, Dark Souls 2 & 3 (I'm playing in a funny order) and they were tough in places but always felt doable. I often hear that Sekiro is tougher but the difficulty ratings in the trophy guides are around the same as the other Souls games so I might be worrying over nothing. I don't mind dying a lot as long as I don't have to redo a massive chunk of the game whenever I die (I save scummed some times before bosses I was having difficulty with to prevent this!).

It's a counter attack/blocking/parry game. It's hard getting the hang of the timing but once you get the feel of it, it gets easier. And satisfying. (edited)

Hard as a hobnailed boot, but still a good game at a great price.

Fighting owl father in the memory was one of the only boss fights that completely broke me! Had to stop playing for a few days

The worse one of the souls series, probably just about worth it at this price. (edited)
