I use these on my playstation, low enough impedance to work great from the controller. A steal at £70, though occasionally cheaper refurbished direct from Sennheiser I think

Hatsune_MikuwBKTried the 598SR (not these) and the soundstage is way too narrow. The highs and lows don't reach anywhere near my Philips X2 and I get this is Senns' reference range of headphones, but for my use case it's utterly unexciting for games and/or movies.
You do get quality audio headphones at this price. If it can be an in-ear, though, there are similar sound quality for cheaper.

jaseeI think these aren't polyurethane on the pads. THere's a felt covering over some kind of foam. They never wear out. I've had mine for at least ten years with use every day. THe pad on your head could be pvc but that hasn't worn at all. You can always return them to Amazon.
