About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
I have been looking to upgrade to the UHD box from a standard Sky Q box. This is priced at £99 through the shop section in the menu for both the 1tb and 2tb boxes.
Then reduces to £50 at checkout.
2tb, UHD, Netflix Ultra and 2 month UHD package for £50. Very happy with that.
Hopefully works for everyone.
I'm a Gold VIP member so that may affect price.
Make sure you click option for NO new contract.

sorted byMine had a sound problem where it was out of sync with the picture
The advisor I spoke too was more than happy to get a replacement box sent out the next day, swapped it over for the old one, no charge as it’s their box!
Why should you pay for having out of date equipment you don’t even own?! (edited)
Try telling that to PCP car users.
If you have a newish tv though you will be better using the tv apps rather than sky q apps. Disney + wouldn’t do 4k through sky q on release (may be fixed now) but none of the apps do Dolby Vision, so using the tv apps gives a better 4k picture for me.
On your sky box press home, then I went to my account then upgrades and offers (the netflix premium for 2 months for free is there if you already have a uhd box and that should be in "our latest offers") then arrow down to "sky q uhd & hdr ready box". Which should then show as £50.
It's far too overblown for what I use a box for and I prefer the simplicity of the Sky+ box. Buying a Roku TV was the final straw that made me put it away because the Roku OS is far better than the Q box.
Obviously this is my own personal preference and I accept that many will disagree though.
Some are, just depends on the model number of the box - some 1TB/2TB boxes don't do it:

Surprised they didn't direct you to the audio delay settings
There's not much point to 'upgrading' to Sky Q full stop.
Rather than addressing the inherent problems associated with their product such as continued sound drops, a soft PQ compared to Sky+HD, boxes unable to maintain a connection throughout peoples homes (and the list goes on), Sky insist on piling on more and more apps that are already readily available on most peoples smart TVs.
Not to mention the fact your main box will operate as a satellite to the whole home, which means you've effectively got just 1.7tb (from a 2tb box) serving an entire household of minis, of which, only two can be viewed at a time... that's if they can hold a connection (assuming you naively rely on Sky's proprietary mesh system).
You invest in Sky Q at your peril as it will easily be the weakest component in your video chain and cause you no end of grief.
If you've got Sky+HD and a smart TV, stick with it. You'll be happier and your family will thank you for it.
Video over IP but you’ll need a HDMI splitter, sender/receiver and to run a Cat 5e/6 cable between the two
There are also wireless HDMI senders/receivers but not used them so can’t comment on quality. (edited)
It's annoying that Sky won't put SkyGo on any smart TVs as it would effectively negate the need for multiroom (and that income stream). However, as far as I am aware, there is nothing to stop you having SkyGo on your laptop and connecting that to the other TV.

Don't rip it
Not much point upgrading to a UHD Sky package if you don't have a 4K TV. You won't get any benefit other than having more recording space
It's the same price
It seems I already have it!!
Someone, possibly Sky sales?, has misinformed you. I have 3 mini boxes and a 1tb main bo
Was tempted to do that too, the remote and screen layout are frustrating to get used to (on the remote pushing the up button makes things go down?) The main issue for me is that I can no longer use the RF out to get sky in other rooms and they want more money for mini boxes when the old system worked great. Gone for Freeview in other rooms now and just look for deals for any other content we need.
I might have to fone and check details just had an email saying HD & UHD discounted for 2 months. On the rewards page it definitely said for the remaining length of my contract?
Buying a Roku TV meant I could also do away with my Roku Premiere box that was plugged in to my old TV as everything was built in. I didn't have a problem with the Q UI as such, I just didn't like it. I can see how it could be particularly useful for a big family but for me living on my own, it was just too much of a faff.
Mine is being delivered tomorrow think it's plug and play.
Not sure about your other query
No from a normal 1tb Q box
No if you have Netflix it upgrades to the uhd package
HD 2 devices > UHD 4 devices
Yeah requires a person for this usually
There’s no UHD channels exactly, but you’ll be able to watch live footy in 4K if you have sports, and download on-demand UHD stuff for any other packs you’ve got, including selected movies if you have cinema
Tracking orders says unplug old box / remote / cable take card out swap with new SKY box with courier and will take it back (edited)
Prime Video app was added recently (edited)
I stopped checking, this is awesome news! (It's amazing how far lock down has crushed my opinion of 'awesome news')
I gave them the power cord just in case. That was it.
