They use the same black magic to power these that they use for the speakers too, the damn things just will not die I think my personal best has been about 50+ hours out of them before needing to recharge. (YMMV and obviously the battery will degrade over time, I think I get a bit closer to 35-40ish hours two years on)
The sound is honestly fantastic, unless you're an audiophile that worships FLAC these will be more than sufficient for a pleasant listening experience albeit a bit on the bass side, though you can change that with the soundcore app, I just haven't been bothered by it.
I find them to be really quite small and lightweight too but that could be influenced that I'm used to gaming headsets like the corsair HS35 and Steelseries Arctis 1 which are definitely heavier and bulkier.
Even though I find them comfortable the cups could do with being just a touch larger, if my ears were any bigger they likely wouldn't fit and I reckon I have fairly small ears, they can also become uncomfortable over time if you have any "industrial" ear piercings, though I only notice that on the tail end of 12hours of continuous use.
Overall a solid 4/5 for bang for the buck headphones that tick most boxes for average users
Just in case you do get some/have some, the replacement ear cushions that are on the US site (us.soundcore.com/pro…-98) but not on the UK site are available if you contact the Soundcore support team directly. I paid via PayPal (£9.99) and they posted them to me. Easy to change too. (edited)
I use Bose QC, but these are pretty good for the price, the noise cancelling is fine, and the sound is pretty good with the EQ.
I'd have no qualms if I forgot my Bose and had to use these on a long flight.
They're great headphones, and the noise-canceling feature works really well IMO.
Probably the best you can buy at this price point.
