Bought this from Argos this morning. Was easy to put up at the beach and the sand bags on the outside made sure it didn't blow away. Worth while investment as it has a small bag about 35cm long that can go in the car boot for more days out.

    Is there a £10 code?

Answering my own question - found you could get a £10 voucher off £20 spend by joining their motoring club (for free, for each email/car reg).

Off topic but you also get a £10 off MOT voucher, but Kwikfit via Groupon is still cheaper currently I think - just had mine done there - no complaint (well, it is not quite as good as the free Halfords MOT deal from here last year for a £1 spend...).

Does the level of SPF protection degrade over time?

The sun shelter won't last that long.

Well… hopefully the beach you are in has plenty of sand/pebbles, which means you’re wife only needs to carry the empty bags.

Would you think a small generator could go in here to protect it from light rainfall?

I would assume so but I would be more worried about trapping the heat and fumes
  18. shescurly's avatar
Because it's open I would hope it would have enough airflow, there are tents available for generators that look a little bit similar but they are around £150
  19. MonkeyMan90's avatar
I really wouldn't bother with 1 of these they make the temp about 100° hotter than the actual temp. You can't go anywhere near it otherwise you just instantly start dripping with sweat
