We rarely see classical guitars posted, so here I am as usual trying to fill a hole
It's a beauty, although I must admit that the oval sound hole throws me a little. I'm destined to get a classical at some point, as I've started to really get into fingerstyle playing.

Cool story time!
We moved house and in the process came across my other half's 1994 Argos special classical guitar in the loft It's actually got steel strings on currently, for whatever reason, but I played it and it blew me away at how nice it actually felt to play (and fun) All of my fingerstyle stuff was easier to play, although admittedly it doesn't sound great, haha. I'll be fixing that up this year to make sure it's preserved FOREVER! The last time I played it was in about 2005.

Anyway... £349 for this is a decent buy and if you watch the video, you get a demo and review. If nothing else, listen to the playing Beautifully done!

No fret markers on the side or directly on the fingerboard itself though and I know some of you prefer to have them.

Recently discovered Rick Beato on Youtube and watched the 2021 interview with Tommy Emmanuel a couple of nights ago. Spellbinding. Just beautiful what he can conjure up out of a solitary acoustic guitar. Did make me want to buy an acoustic, but I'm more likely to sound like Derek Bailey - which is not a bad thing either.

I'm sure you know this anyway, but DB was a decent jazz guitarist.

Great guitars, just wish I wasn’t so shaaa hite with acoustic. Why do I need hands like Garth and a custom larrievee to just be able to fret, when all these 7yr old Chinese girls do it flawlessly on a £150 instrument!

My partners nylon classical guitar was restrung as steel by here brothers - which didn't do it any favours - so this is tempting and should be easy to play.

Yep, no idea why it has steel strings on. I feel for the neck!
Can't wait to spruce it up and play it again, even if it is 29 years old and from Argos

I don't mind oval sound holes but do like fretboard markers, or at least side dots when playing standing, because my guitar and sight-reading skills are not good enough yet not to need to check the positioning of my fret hand.
