First time this has been on sale! Worth a revisit at this price for those of us who watched it as youngsters, for a hit of 90’s nostalgia.

I’m not aware if this is in HD anywhere or available elsewhere to watch. Please let me know in the comments.

There's quite a bit of history to this show. They were originally broadcast as shorter episodes which were bookended by an actor playing an 80 year old Indiana Jones wearing an eye patch.

They then decided to remove all these older Indy intro/outros and edit episodes together to form 90 minute films.

I was lucky enough to find a Norwegian DVD box set years ago with the complete series on 17 discs. Sadly, I've only watched the first two or three films as they're not like the films and quite a tough watch.

In terms of an HD upgrade, the show was filmed on 16mm rather than 35mm film, so HD will give a better picture quality but not as good as film upgrades. Plus I can't see Disney paying out for an HD upgrade on something that doesn't have a big enough fan base.

Wonder is it worth waiting if it comes to Disney plus as it has in other regions

I was looking forward to watching it when they announced it, only for it not to come to Disney Plus in the UK 😫

Are these written by or star Phoebe Waller-Bridge?

Genuinely been looking for these on dvd as they aren’t on any streaming. Quite a few of these are meant to be very good. I had a load on VHS when I was younger. I will have a punt at this price even.

Is this any good? I vaguely remember not getting on with a couple of episodes back in the day and didn’t bother watching anymore.

    Is it worth revisiting?

I remember watching the special with Harrison Ford as Old Indy... from memory he had the beard as he was filming The Fugitive at the time... and he had an eyepatch, perhaps he'll lose an eye in the new film?

All I remember of the episode was the fight scene choreography where it was obvious that punches weren't landing anywhere near their targets

It would be brilliant if they went out of their way to make that eye patch canon.

Just a heads up Episode 20: Mystery Of The Blues is missing from the boxset.
There should be 22 episodes not 21. (edited)

Do we know why? Something controversial?

Agree with @Chuddmeister. They're "okay". Got the DVDs and have attempted to watch through a couple of times, but it always seems a chore. Some episodes are really good, many just "meh".

The accompanying documentaries (DVD release) are quite educational, but like the episodes, a tad boring.

I love these and own them on DVD, but it is worth remembering these are more educational than action adventure most of the time

Agreed, very similar to Sesame Street

I bought the dvd set of Amazon in 2012 and still haven’t gotten around to watching them.50535465-lqTDr.jpg
