It won't be Spanish don't worry lol

Cold, it was £23.46 on Friday

Still contemplating a refund request though...

Interesting, I thought this was out and you got my hopes up high.

Does you think this can get any cheaper?

Its 1199.00 rubles from the russian origin store (£21.15 according to paypal) - ofc no idea if its language / region locked.

wanna bet, it is not hard for EA match purchased games from its foreign sites, with players logging on (when playing the game) from a UK IP.

This method been used for ages with no problems, everyone did it for battlefield 3 and 4, save loads, go ahead and pay more if you want

Just saying it could happen, I know in Steam that have it in there EULA, "You agree that you will not use IP proxying or other methods to disguise the place of your residence, whether to circumvent geographical restrictions on game content, to purchase at pricing not applicable to your geography, or for any other purpose. If you do this, we may terminate your access to your Account.".

With EA being the 'tinan'ic company it is, I am sure their suits would have included a similar clause.

But for once it's a game actually worth Pre-ordering.

If the chrome proxy isnt working try this method

To get to the mexican store you'll need a proxy, take one of the proxy servers from the list below:
Proxy Server:
proxynova.com/pro…mx/
spys.ru/fre…MX/
xroxy.com/pro…htm
Option 1:
Chrome using FoxyProxy (no NoScript, no Adblock)
go to store.origin.com
add Titanfall to your cart
to checkout, click on buy and you'll need to sign-in to origin, at this point disable the proxy connection and login with your origin account data
enter fake adress data (mexican hotel or something like that)
order
Option 2:
FireFox using NoScript
Set Proxy manually in your FireFox settings
disable all scripts etc using NoScript
delete all cookies containg "origin" in the FF settings
go to store.origin.com
add the game to your cart
checkout
disable the proxy connection (FF settings)
enable akamaihd.net, ea.com and origin.com in NoScript
login with your origin account data
order

I'm stuck. Where are steps 6 - 8? I've been here all night

Don't forget to swing by the Weekly Game Codes Giveaway 8 competition and grab a number

Heat from me -- while I was there, I stumbled across this -- might grab a copy

Yep. Been happening since day one. Who cares if you log on using a UK IP. Keys are region free. What if you were on holiday, relatives bought it you etc. EA don't want the massive backlash that would cause. You are safe

Or just get from cdkeys for 24.69 without the hassle?

How?? from what i've played of the beta, it's a solid game, fun new mechanics, fun gameplay, something new, not some generic shooter game.

If you can't be bothered with the VPN work round you can get the UK version from CD keys for £25.99 plus 5% off for liking their facebook page which works out to only about £1 more than this, plus it's in English

Think I will stick to CD keys. Tempting but for £1.07 difference I don't wanna risk losing my BF4 premium

will get that cheap soon anyway Fun game been playing the beta, could do with some weapon balancing but its v good.

So for those who have played the beta is it worth getting? So many free to play shooters and if this has no single player, does it warrant shelling out the coin?
Tempted to preorder :0/

Doesn't anyone else think that game prices are outrageous?

Games have jumped from £24.99 to £45.99 and at the same time half the content has been removed and sold back as "DLC".

When games came in an actual box (not a crap DVD case) they had figurines, posters, manuals (not a three page pamphlet) and a key-card and this was normal not a "collectors edition" and they cost.. drum roll... £14.99.

Prices have gone up and up and up and value has spiralled down. Not only are they missing any kind a value-add packaging, but most of the time the games are released in a pre-beta state with a good 60% of the content held back.

I'm voting this hot because we really need to vote with our wallets.

Yes.

I'm not going to overrate it like other people but the gameplay is very solid and with Call of Duty & Battlefield overload recently, it's a nice change. Titans aren't overpowered ive found too... unless you try to stand and trade with one without being in a titan yourself that is.

I was banned from Battlefield for buying it on American origin. Had to tell them I bought it whilst on holiday to be Unbanned and buy it again.

Yep. Reason being you always have idiots prepared to pay. Just look at all the console deals that get voted hot. £30-£40 and go scorching. People are morons and the companies know this

one with such paranoia would do well to set up a separate account for this game

Seems sketchy to me, giving your payment details through a proxy service...not sure if/how SSL covers this and protects you??

Before you enter your payment details. Disable the proxy

Remember if buying through Origin you get their guarantee which allows you to return the game for a full refund within (x) amount of days if for whatever reason you do not want the game.

Played the pc beta of Titanfall - it's just 'ok'. A solid fps game, but I was hoping to enjoy it more. BF4 has raised the bar for fps gaming. As there is no campaign in Titanfall then the rrp really should be about £25 anyway for pc version. CoD with mechs, wall running and useless ai bots. Don't think I'll preorder.

I can imagine more than 12 titans per map could be a little claustrophobic though. I thought 6v6 was fine.
