Seems great for what you're getting for the money, but the 4K doesn't specify 30/60Hz - the extended datasheet doesn't either dezlwerqy1h00.cloudfront.net/Med…pdf
Have since contacted their support to ask.
    EDIT: Only 30Hz folks

Also worth noting that the USB-C port on your laptop/PC/device needs to be a certain spec (DisplayPort over Alt Mode club-3d.com/en/…de/) for the video output to work as advertised - I suspect some of the negative reviewers made this mistake.

The adapter is not functioning, but my laptop does have a USB-C port.
    1. Check that the USB-C connection on your laptop supports video output. This can be done by taking a look at the icon that is shown next to the USB-C port on your laptop.
    - If the icon is a flash this indicates USB-C / Thunderbolt, the laptop is compatible with the adapter.
    - If the icon is a DP (a letter D with a letter P inside the D) this indicates USB-C / DisplayPort, the laptop is compatible with the adapter.
    - If the icon is a SS this indicates USB-C / SuperSpeed, the USB-C port does not have a video output. In this case, the laptop is not compatible with the adapter.
    2. If you have a compatible USB-C port, make sure that your laptop's power supply is also connected to the adapter. (edited)

    Worth a punt.

Shame it's only 60W, this would be ideal otherwise

Indeed, should be fine for macbook air though.

Took a punt, my surface book needs 100W+ but according to internet I can keep original charger plugged in and use this in USB-C port and it will automatically disable the usb-c port charging.

Much rather use this so it places laptop on a slight angle than my current dock brick as MS made the laptop silver aluminium yet the dock black and it makes the desk look out of place.

Not a bad price but only info I found online suggests 30Hz but I don't use multi screens so not a deal breaker.

Trust brand? Aren't they a cheap budget brand for supermarkets? Had a couple of stuff from Trust and was cheap and nasty

My question is, are the USB C ports on the dock DP, I have USB C monitors also?

Pretty awesome actually. You normally probably will spend this money just to buy a 5G network adapter.
