Soft & smooth and comfortable hand feel are clearly very important features

Totally agree, soft and smooth is the way to go. Nobody wants to experience the joy of a USB-C cable going rogue and playing rough with their buttcheeks at 3 AM. Comfort is key, especially in those delicate areas!

Funny how they advertise 100w but as far as the actual cable materials go, the maximum current is the limiting factor and it doesn't change with voltage. So yeah, this says it can do 5A which is the maximum for any USB PD standard and should work with upto 48V at 5A which is 240W. Maybe there's a chip in the connector that has to negotiate the max voltage too that I'm not aware of?

I think there is a chip as explained in the second screenshot?
