Just Reserved and picked up instore, when the staff scanned the barcode from the printed confirmation they said it would be £30 for all three, however when I showed them the sub total price at the bottom of my print out, the colleague soon adjusted the total to £3.33 for 2 of them and £3.32 for the third effectively making it 3 for 2 at £9.98 for the three bargain. Confirmed for Chichester branch

Supposed to add to a bucket of water, but I use it in a sprayer - suitably diluted

Not really, they were selling it at this price a couple of months ago, with free delivery to your door.

Thanks very much, picking up 3 tomorrow.
If it's anything like Demonshine will be just the ticket.

Pretty good find, however never retails at £19.99 anywhere else other than Halfords - 2 x5litre for £9.89 om Ebay currently.....just the usual retail fun and games of high pricing it for the statutory period then they can slash the price supposedly.

Both the same IMHO - neither have any lastability whatsoever - will 'wash off' after first decent shower of rain.
However the better your car is aready properly waxed, it will then last that little bit longer...

TBH I prefer just to use a high quality wash/wax - like FinishKare #1016 - gives far better results in my experience.

Pour your money in liquid form over your car and down the drain, go on!

Complete and utter waste of money. If this was free I still wouldn't bother using it.

Thanks Faythur, especially for the recommendation.

I find that 2L of Demon Shine can regularly be had at Asda for £2 so at £5L for 5L this product is effectively the same price.
As previously noted the claimed original price is tosh. The value here is solely in the 3 for 2 deal. Still good if you're happy to bulk buy and don't spend too much on fuel getting to Halfords (_;)

Plenty of waxing on and waxing off to be had there! Just a shame about the weather today(!)

had bad experience with R&C at Halfords, messed up ordering system were nobody checks availability and you turn up to the store to be told sorry "system error". I spoke to the store manger to be told "our system is not perfect, last time we had a clearance sale we had two customers fighting in the shop over iPhone holders/speakers"!! can you imagine, rather than fixing their system he was giving me a crap explanation, rubbish staff training.

Picked up mine from my local store after reserving last night. Anyone got experience of using this stuff and the best way to apply it? I currently use a Meguiars spray wax after rinsing, as my car is black and has visible watermarks otherwise.
  38. deleted143918's avatar
As regards application, I mixed a bucketful of water as directed and then used a plastic 1/2 litre jug to pour it over each panel - don't put it on the windscreen.

Leave for a few minutes as most should sheet off, and then dry off the residual with a large microfibre towel. Just how much is left will depend on the ambient temperature.

Picking mine up today although it has gone through at £14.98 rathe than £9,98 so will have to get them to refund the price of one on the card according to customer services.
