Handlebars, front wheel. Saddle? Not much. Easy to do. (edited)

A lot of bike for the money and if you’re after a 29er then you can’t go wrong at this price, however the 27.5 with the pedals and dropper represents better value to me.

    Worth £100 more you think?

I picked up the Nucleus vrs 27 with Dropper and Pedals, came with clarks breaks and was dubious.... but they stop better than my xt breaks on my other bike! Well chuffed with it. Only thing I will upgrade down the line is the forks

This is why the Bizango Pro is tempting me. If I spend £500 on the Vitus and drop another £200 on a new fork I may aswell just buy the Bizango Pro. (edited)

Currently looking at the same, how does this compare to the Bizango Pro, spec wise?

Bizango Pro has a step up in everything I think. Better fork, thru axles on the rear, 12 speed vs 10. Not sure about brakes.

I'm waiting for this company to reinstate the cycle to work schemes then I'll buy the Vitus Sentier 29VR. Hopefully it's still £999 then.

Cycle to work has been a bit of a pain for me. I did it through Vivup and by the the time the letter came through the bike had gone out of stock and discount ended. You're not allowed to "top up" if they're selling at a higher price when it comes back in to stock either.

Bizango pro was £950? And out of stock. Nothing wrong with the forks on them once you play with the air preasure set up just me being fussy

Yeah and they had 10% off in the run up to Xmas and another 10% off with BLC so were pretty decently priced. Think I'll just hold out for the Pro. (edited)

I ordered the Kona lava dome, should be here Tuesday, love the frame shape, will upgrade the forks on it later tho.
This looks much better deal for the money. but still prefer the look of the Kona lava dome.

Frame does look nice, but upgrading the fork from a coil to an air spring sounds sensible. Not sure what the Mircoshift would be like in comparison to the Shimano Deore on this.

Suntour have an upgrade programme in the US but can't find any details about a similar one in the UK.

Yeah that's the VR, lower spec fork and gearing. The VRS is probably worth the extra.

Is this suitable for general riding? Looking for a sub £600 bike to use when out and about with son (country parks etc).
