Great set, but I get it that people consider it expensive, but they're great quality and very handy inc. the panel keys(apart from the pathetic token tester driver )
I'd prefer the slimline driver Set though ..

I agree with the tester comment, use the space for something useful.

Why so much ? What’s special about this set looks very small

    That's kinda the point
It's 12 quality screwdrivers and 4 panel keys wrapped up in a very neat quality small wrap case.
No question Wiha are excellent quality too, but I personally love the Wera handle.
As above these are far better quality than the draper equivalent, but I'm sure they're also of acceptable quality If you don't appreciate the Wera qualities...

Personally bought a Wiha set couple of years ago for £35 - they're German too and they've been well worth the money if I need to buy tools it tends to be German - I used to buy equally excellent British tools in my youth but they all got closed and moved to China when Thatcher got in in 79 - most names disappeared not long after, being fine since WW1 ! My fave was always Tipco spanners every bit as good as the best German
But Wera are worth buying to last and not get twisted out of shape.
Sorry for meandering but a subject close to my heart ! (edited)

I'm with you on this. I have a couple of ranges of Wera, a standard set for normal work and a small precision set for working on my saxophones. Both have been brilliant, and although not cheap, have worked out as excellent value.

We used to be able to buy some good British tools - Britool used to be good until they were bought out by Stanley. You can still buy specialist engineering tools from Sykes-Pikavant. I've had one of their torque wrenches for use on my motorbikes for years, and it's an excellent thing.

Draper have the same set, I gotnit for £28 a few months ago, then I also bought a VDE set by Amazon Basic for around £10 too.

I’ve used the Wera set at work for a good few years now (great drivers) but also bought the Draper as a ‘cheapie’ set for home use. The Draper set is definitely not ‘the same set’ and nowhere near as good quality.
