Why are people still buying this console. It's ridiculously bad.

Yeah, you're right, its ridiculously bad, I have to keep playing mine to remind myself of how bad it is.

When Im playing Mario Kart 8 (voted by readers of Metro Gaming 'Game of the Year', along with many other sites), I just cant believe how bad it is, and then I stick in the highly rated Super Mario 3D World and that's even worse (again all those raves were totally wrong), and my mate keeps ringing me up saying how bad Bayanetta 2 is, despite being No 2 in Metro Gaming's poll of the year, and a 10/10 from Edge, so he plays the highly rated Super Smash Bros Wii U, and again its just awful.

Im dreading the next few months, when we get the spectacularly bad looking Splatoon, and then get the unbelievably cute looking Yoshi game which is just gonna suck. Plus don't get me started on that staggeringly bad Zelda series, as we've got another one of them to endure.

Its terrible being a Wii U owner (_;)

Nationwide Instore deals are a pain in the hole. Some of us have jobs and completely miss these goose chases. First world problems.

Nintendo were Metacritics publisher of the year 2014 with the highest average rating. Plus games like Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta 2 and Super Smash were top of many GOTY polls. I'd say that was reason enough to buy a £74 games console.

If I was working in Tesco and someone rang the store I was at, checking the stock and I see on the system they're cheap as **** - I'd just lie and say no then grab the last bunch of them. So not surprised if that's what they do tbh!

This whole place is FULL of trolls, nearly 90% of deals are complete troll fodder, made up **** to give pleasure to people to know folks are ringing around and driving all over the place trying to find a mythical 'deal'.

wife got 1 today for sons 5th birthday. and the guy first said sorry there not for sale. so she went to manager and he let her have it. I think the staff get wind of this and keep them out back

I'm going to apologize up front here as this is certainly a good deal if you can find them. It's just... do we really need a new post every time someone finds a Nintendo deal in Tesco's? Couldn't there just be a single catch-all thread instead. Quite aside from anything else this must be hell on earth for anyone employed there as they get inundated with queries about these fabulous bargains.

That is pretty depressing.

What's also depressing is yesterday afternoon I rang up a store and asked the person if they had any in stock, she said they didn't, then last night I see someone post that he just bought the last 1 from said store.

Tesco customer service is really, really bad.

Hi I just collected the 32 premium wii u with nintendoland I can confirm it was £74...there was absolutely nothing on shop floor to indicate they even sold any Nintendo related content ! Had to ask around and finally got the guy who works on entertainment to check he was it was the last one

Lesson to be learnt is do not call up go to the store and hassle until they pay attention

I thank God this guy was honest he could have kept it for himself nice chap

Did you notice if the vita was discounted too? Some of those have been found cheap. May be worth going to Cleethorpes Extra to see what they have. Where there many units left in stock?
