My first deal, please be gentle. You're going to need a few things first, gog account, hola and a paypal account. After that, set your hola browser to Ukraine and visit gog, add Witcher 3 to your basket, sign in to your gog account. Pick PayPal as your payment method. Turn off hola and sign in to your paypal account and purchase. You'll get an email confirming order and pre-order bonuses. Job done. The same method will get you the expansion for $14.99, which is £9.83.

Can a mod please edit the 'Go to Deal' to go to gog.com?

Doesn't load Ukraine page of gog.com

Use hola to set your browser to Ukraine, then visit gog. The prices might be dollars and site in English. Witcher may show as $15.79, which is £10.90.

That's mental... what's the catch? Is it a Steam key? Can we order any game from there using the same method?

No, it's gog. DRM free and you select your in game language, so no worries about the in game speech being in Ukraine.

I'm new to PC gaming. So everything on GOG.com is DRM free? Can you sell the codes on then if you want, pre-owned!?!?!

Also, as added after before, do you do the same method to money off every game you buy from there?

I believe everything on GOG is DRM. Purchases are linked to your account.

Tried Hola, but it keeps coming up with the US or UK site, any advice?

whilst on the witcher 3 page just click on the hola icon and keep clicking "no, fix it" until the correct price appears

Wow...super cheap.

Is this safe to do ? Whats the worst that can happen.

Guys clear your cookies! Scorching deal good job!

Developer listens to gamers and makes drm free games. Gamers screw them over by playing the system. Oh well, at least it isn't being pirated.

The worst that can happen is you do it wrong and it doesn't work. Gog is a legit site, Hola is a legit service.

There is no code, after the game is released you can download from GOG the installer which is DRM free or install their application. Many of us have decided to preorder it at the full price to support CDP and what they stand for.

Got it for just under £7.00 when the initial pre-orders went live, thats with the extra discount for owning the other games on GOG. Seems almost criminal for how great the game is shaping up to be, not to mention all the free content they're giving away.

They didn't listen though. They used the excuse that the regional pricing discrepancy on Witcher 2 was out of their hands because of the Publisher and that it wouldn't happen with 3 because they would self publish.... then they did the same thing.

I wasn't going to buy this game till it hit the £5 mark because I disagreed with the pricing (I don't care for gog credit.) & wasn't in any rush to play it but now I've got this gog has had more money off of me then they would've gotten.

I feel bad doing this against a very good pc developer who never charge above what they need to.

I do this for EA games because they are **** but I have too much respect for cd project red to rip them off.

If they want us to support them directly, they shouldn't put the price up as £50.

I think the devs are great, but if I can get a Steam version for £18, I'll go with that.

If it was £30 on their site, I feel they'd get a lot more orders.

Well got it for £9 odd after loyalty discounts. Do I feel bad? Not really. At the end of the day, I wouldn't have bought until it was under £10 on Steam anyway. This way I'm buying direct from the developer so they are seeing more of my money anyway.

Enjoy sex scenes with hairy men then.

Hmm, this is so tempting, I pre-ordered it on PS4 but still tempted to cancel that and get this.

The fact that it is a pre-order puts me off a bit though e.g. is there anyway they could find out that people are exploiting the system to get the game cheap and deny them the game on release? Suppose paypal gives an extra layer of protection but still a little concerning...

If I did go ahead with this is there anyway I can just clear the cookies for GOG and not everything? as I don't really want to lose all my settings and have to store all my passwords again.

If anyone could do a little step by step guide that would be great, only used hola a couple of times before and found it a bit hit and miss when I did.

Ordered.

Heat from me. And thanks, mikat

Well, while this is a great deal, I won't be doing it.
1. This is clearly an exploit. From their agreement (that you accept when you buy):
"We work hard to offer fair pricing... Please treat this system sensibly and don't exploit it – that's not cool.

2: Also from the agreement: "If you seriously breach this Agreement you may lose access to GOG.com (temporarily or permanently)."

Never seem to be able to get this Hola to work. Do you have to have a premium membership on it?

This is an amazing deal!!!

If you want to buy the game legitimately on Steam for a pretty good price go here: cdkeys.com/pc/…eam

I got this with the Nvidia deal, comes out in may.. long wait
