No, it's more than that.
I would presume you can still get the original on physical ?
Thanks. Now live
It’s a reworked version they sold as a separate game, includes the DLC, better camera, reworked levels with added bits.
Thanks
Only difficult achievements are the don't hit ones. Those are going to be much harder in the original game due to limited camera control and not being able to fling back projectiles from the bees (which spawn in the Lady Meowmalade battle). I lost like 50 lives trying to get that achievement because it has RNG patterns. On the new one, it took like 6 or 7 goes.
There was also some grindy achievements like getting so many coins (you had nowhere near as many by the time you did everything in the game). They sorted that out in the new one.
Basically anyone not giving a damn about achievements has nothing to gain from playing the old version. All the DLC is in the new one with a much better camera, smaller filesize and 60fps. Both can be played on Xbox Game Pass for anyone who really wants to compare. (edited)
You can play it on game pass but that also includes the reworked version which contains all the DLC. Free is free but it's a more limited benefit than it first seems.
As ThePointyEnd points out, physical copies would still benefit. (edited)
Also worth noting if you buy the new one, you get the original version for free atm, if you really want to play both
Thanks I need to get game pass again just have too much to play
