How's this compared to oral b stuff?

Oral B might be using Lithium Batteries on some of their models now but they often used Ni-Cad an ancient rechargable battery technology. The main thing to look at is battery technology and the charging time. I quit Oral B because the charging time was 16 hours! My Chinese FairyWill toothbrush takes about 2 hours to charge, and USB. Massive difference. Now there are 180 day charge toothbrushes, so when my toothbrush dies I will get a 180 day charge one, which should last 6 months on one charge. Fast charging and longevity of charge is a game changer.

Can anyone comment on the effectiveness of these and would they take generic heads?

Their "original" heads are less then £1 each anyway I think. You can also get bundle packs with spare heads.

However in terms of effectiveness, it's like a sonicare but I don't think it cleans as well. Motor is a bit strong for smaller kids, maybe from 4-6 years. (edited)

    Got twin pack + 6 heads for £14.36 del'd.

Bargain! (assuming they don't explode in the kids' mouths!!)

Gosh so much plastic waste. This is embarrassing. (edited)

It's ok it's offset by the plastic straws the UK Gov has banned, but it's ok for the far east to do whatever they wish... One planet for us and one for them

It's not smart. Doesn't mention it on AE page either.

Might get one still as always wanted a Snoic toothbrush

It did concern me that they couldn't get that spelled right!

Got it about a month ago for 6.10 50381262-EqXRp.jpgIt's good. My experience, it's better than oral b in terms of cleaning power and battery life which is at least 3 times more. And charging time is less than 4 h for this model.
Only downside is the design where you have a tiny gap between head and body and you have to keep cleaning the charging port area at the base else water ingress can damage it long term.
Price justifies what you get Vs other expensive ones

From memory there are coloured rings that you can put in that gap (to differentiate)

Bought the twin pack with 6 heads - cost just under £15 with tax etc and welcome discount. I'll report how good (or not) they are when they arrive but fed up with how expensive sonicares are (like the way they clean and their battery life but on to my 4th one admittedly in about 10 yrs; these are a quarter of the price or less depending on model of sonicare)

Is anyone able to compare this to fairywill?
