A proper brew - pure and simple. We pay fair prices for really good tea from farms in Africa and India, to make a lovely blend that's big on flavour, seriously refreshing and kind to the people who grow it. Our family business was founded in 1886 in Harrogate, one of the nicest towns in Yorkshire (though we might be a bit biased)! We’re still family owned today and we work hard to stay true to our love of fairness, flavour and quality. We work extremely hard to build long-lasting relationships with the people who grow our tea. We pay sustainable prices and a premium for quality, we regularly visit the farms and co-operatives we buy from and we invest in their communities and their environment to help ensure both are thriving and resilient. In short, we strongly believe in ethical trading.

Ingredients
black tea

Directions
Use water that has boiled just once - any more than that and the oxygen level in the water is reduced, which can cause your tea to taste a bit 'flat'. In a mug: Pour the freshly boiled water directly onto your tea bag in the mug. This way the tea infuses better than when you add the tea bag to the water. Leave to 'brew' for 2-3 minutes, according to your taste. Remove the bag with a spoon giving it just one squeeze. Add sugar/sweetener and milk, if desired.

That's a lot of tea. Would last me nearly a year. I wonder what the BBE date is like.

I just check the last one of these I bought from Amazon in March 2023 and it simply has a date on the top seal of May 2024 (with no mention or letters indicating it's a best before date though).

Why haven’t they put a zip seal or something on these huge bags

If you’ve got a Costco card, they are always below £10, £9.89 to be precise
    Kal007's avatar
Isn't the Costco offer for 480 bags only? This deal is for 600.
  13. Kal007's avatar
Thanks OP. Good price for 600 - £11.39 for me after 10% voucher. How are people getting the £10.68 price?

I believe it's if you have the maximum subscribe and save discount, you get 15% discount instead of the 10%

2p a bag whomever you buy from in whatever size - used to be 1p a bag….just a monopoly IMHO
    fillroyy's avatar
How is it a monopoly if multiple vendors are selling the product?
