    How do these work exactly?

They give out heat which warms your hands.

Mine arrived today and I just had to try it out. I was a bit unnerved at filling it with the mini-can twice, and it did overspill a little, but once I got it cleaned up and lit it's now kicking out a terrific amount of heat.

Already voted HOT and it literally is

These things are awesome. Great for chilly photoshoots, where everyone's standing around for ages.

I wouldn't be without it in my kit bag.

AR's link in the first reply gives good info.

I've been keeping my eye on this as it's been posted before. Certainly seems worth £10 as those gel hand warmers cost £1 for 2 but only last a few hours. I know it won't be needed for 6 months but there will be a time when I jump inand buy one, the £10 price point sells it for me.

How often do you have to replace the burner?

Is it a lighter as well if you open it for instance? then thats it sold to me
  18. bboy71's avatar
    @dyopsis
No it can't be used as a lighter,if you tried that you would end up with a serious burn on your thum mate.chances are if you youtube it youl get an idea of how it works.I've got one and its great but it does get very hot though you get a pouch to keep it in also

    Have Loads Of Heat !!

Don`t forget it works well with Pound shop lighter fuel, have had my one a couple of years and carry it always when doing winter hill climbs. Burns a good 10-12 hours, a must have for keeping warm.

    Brilliant Neil and Zen!

It's £3.50 for a replacement so if I get a winter out of this I'll be happy.

I am a dog handler and work nights regular, these are a must have and keep your hands and pockets warm all night long if kept in the pouch provided.

A star buy if only you could find them in black at this price...

I bought one of these last year but paid double this price, I work in a chilly store and they are really good I wouldn't be without this come the winter great buy.

These hand warmers are very good, I got about a bit over 2 months last winter, used it this winter, with the same burner from purchase, have since bought replacement burners, which are under a fiver, just in case, it's still kicking, get in there before it's gone peeps, I managed to sell 10 of these at double the price, when others discovered why I was smiling in the -9 temperature, lol!!!

First reports, it got midly warm inside the bag but outside the bag it got pretty hot. It advises you to keep it in the bag at all times but I think otherwise, especially icy cold mornings

disclaimer, don't sue me if you get burnt

    Great gadget.
