Slightly disconcerting that they couldn't sell out a limited edition of 500 without halving the price.

If anyone bought at full price hoping it would appreciate it's not off to a good start

Never heard of this watch maker or the Soprod C125 Automatic movement. Are these well reviewed?

I wondered the same. Found this on reddit:

"Roughly equivalent to ETA 2893-2, exact same size, so it will be the ebauche found in a lot of formerly-ETA-supplied budget GMTs. Has a few extra jewels, not sure where though.

Function, fortunately or unfortunately, is the same as ETA 2893-2 with quick-set 24H hand rather than quick-set local time (as on a "true" GMT), because the GMT module is built on what would be the day module.

No complaints of Soprod, some anecdotal advantages in the manual winding works, biggest concern is that they're relatively untested, but I wouldn't be opposed to buying one for myself."

Another opinion was that it was meant to be a step up from the Era 2893-2, and certainly a step up from a sellita.

Do these appreciate over time or immediately lose their value
    Christee4's avatar
Well its lost 50% of its value before it even left the shelf ..... watches appreciating in value isn`t as widespread as the internet will have you believe, even less so for brands like whatever this is. Brand name counts for so much, these could be better than Rolex, but no one would care (edited)

Ugly as chuff that's why it hasn't sold out and has been reduced. (edited)

I am not a watch expert, but naming all those countries' capital makes it look cheap.
