Amazon's sorting* drivers me absolutely MaaAaD

Whenever I sort* by price or 'today's deals' I am losing hundreds/thousands of listings.
But also when filtering by 'up to' price.

Is there any way around it?

Maybe could assist as I think that member previously supplied a
    "sold by Amazon"
    filter solution,
so may have / remember a
    "sort without results loss"
    solution.

    Edit:
plebbygiraff's "filter by Amazon-only" solution is at:
    hotukdeals.com/com…000

Another historical but unanswered similar-themed thread asking
"how to maximise results by adding character to Amazon URL"
    can be seen at
    hotukdeals.com/dis…928
which may be an observation that a character being auto-removed when applying a sort preference could be the cause of lesser post-sort results,
but doesn't identify which character[s] to manually re-apply to revert to original post-sort results' quantity. (edited)

This has been previously asked on HUKD and a URL operator solution suggested.
But to locate that previous thread will first need a solution to the inadequate HUKD search function.

Good question. I thought this was just something I was doing wrong when searching.

Would need more specifics to know.

I mean the purpose of filtering is to lose results so sounds like it is working fine!

I presume that you are losing results that you know should return? For example you filter by medium size t-shirts and you lose results that actually are medium sized t-shirts.

    Sorry, you are absolutely right.

    I meant SORTING* not filtering

It's been a hot and sunny day 😁
