Best deals for Game Pass Ultimate? (lapsed sub)

Just a quick post to ask if there are any good offers for returning to Game Pass Ultimate after letting subscription lapse? I know they used to do first month £1, is this still around and would I be able to use it again?

If not are there any good deals for the subscription packs of three/six or twelve months going around at the moment?

I know it used to be cheaper to buy Gold subscription and convert it but read they have pretty well nobbled that?

Any advice appreciated

    I guess you can't just buy an overseas month GPU via VPN and redeem it on your UK account ? (edited)

    Yes, you can buy any GPU code.

    You can still use the VPN trick to buy off region xbox subs and convert to GPU. Think I paid around £80 for 2yrs GPU

    Been covered on here many many times so have a search and you'll find instructions

    You can still do Gold/Core to Ultimate. It used to be a 1:1 ratio, but now it's 3:2. So 3 years of Gold becomes 2 years Ultimate. It's still cheaper doing it this way, just not as good as before
