The broadcaster has been showing daily highlights throughout the competition, which have been produced by Sunset+Vine. For the final, it will take Sky’s coverage, which will begin at 7.30am on Sunday 19 November before the start of the game at 8.30am - which will be the world feed from Star Sports.

Sky Sports has already announced that it will be providing Hindi commentary, in addition to its English broadcasts, for all three remaining matches.

Federico Ruiz, commissioning editor, Channel 5 and Paramount+, said: “We’re really proud that Channel 5 and Sky have partnered to make the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup final available on free-to-air TV. Cancel your Sunday plans and settle in to watch one of the most exciting sporting finals this year.”

How good are the Aussies to come back after losing their first 2 games!

In the past, that would've meant elimination.

Aus struggled to get past SAfrica. All things point a straightforward Indian victory.

This tournament was set up to ensure the big teams still went through to the SFs even if they lost a 3 or 4 games.. England failed to read that memo!

And 6 weeks of games to just satisfy broadcaster/commercial needs.

Way too long. Poor crowds for the non-Indian matches. Feels more like a home Indian series rather than ICC World tournament. (edited)

I tried to watch Ch5 highlights online for a couple of the games. Found them pretty much unwatchable due to the ads and not being able to forward.

So just relied on some unofficial 15-20 min highlights on YouTube. Not the best editing but needs must!

The change of pitch was evidence that BCCI control things not the ICC.

Not issuing non-Indian fans visa to enter the country - this giving more, one sided home support was more important than having bumper crowds. I don't think empty stadia has been a good look during the most prestigious ICC tournament.

Seems to have all been brushed under the carpet (edited)
