electrical switch

can i use a 20amp double pole with neon light a switchs a normal light switch?i know they are normally more expensive than a normal light switch but i have a couple of nice brushed satin nickel 20 amp double pole switches that i dont want to gotto waste?

Have you looked at the back of the switch & compared that to the back of light switches?

Yes but neon light would not work as normally no neutral at a light switch which would be required.
Would work as a 1 way switch though as stated above.

Neons don’t require a neutral and also, some light switch positions will in fact have a neutral conductor.
