Recommendation for Vapor/DPM concrete floor prior to laying laminate

Hi

I am just about to lay new floor in our cellar.

Currently its just concrete thats topped with a levelling compound and utherane top coat.

I am wanting to use the laminate in our kitchen that I have taken up.

Does anyone have any recommendation for a vapor barrier and suitable decent quality underlay.

Anything else I should be on lookout for.

The floor isn't damp, doesn't get wet.

Just thought it seemed waste to throw out decent quality flooring and doing this might help in winter times to keep decent temperature.

Any advice appreciated

Thanks

We had the floor done downstairs in 2019 and, after much research, went with Timbertech2 Acoustic Plus Flooring Underlay which has a built in vapour barrier.

Very good product and the research I did was correct, in that the quality of the underlay can make a big difference to the feel of the floor.
