my new s22 is driving me mad, set it all up installed and logged into all my apps, disabled some stuff, changed to gboard etc..
battery is draining quite a bit faster and it's slightly slower than my s21 at opening apps which is annoying but no matter what I do I can't get it to change notification sounds for my security apps.
I have many eufy cameras and doorbell, im trying to change motion alerts to success sound, doorbell press to the bell sound but when I change them the phone just does its own default sound not the eufy sounds.
so now I don't know if I have a text, email, someone's on my drive or pressing the bell. I've allowed all sound and notifications for the app in settings, tried logging out and reinstalling eufy app but no matter what, the sound the phone makes doesn't change even though the eufy app has successfully selected a different sound which plays fine when clicking on it just not when I get the notification
anyone have any ideas ?
would really appreciate any help, I'm seriously ready to send it back and keep my s21

Yes that's exactly what's happening, the system is doing its own noise rather than the noise I've selected in the eufy app, I'll have a look later on after work, thanks
Have you tried this and changes the sound under the apps settings on the phone?
I cannot test it as I have the s21U and this isn't there for me. (edited)
Usually to change the sound of the eufy camera and doorbell notifications, you do it via the eufy app shown below, you select notifications, then select the sound you want.
On my s21 this works fine but on the s22, when I select a different sound it still just makes the galaxy default sound for text message not the eufy sounds.
I'll have a look at the settings you posted, thanks.
I remember having issues on my old s6 edge. With WhatsApp. You change the sound setting in WhatsApp but the system notification overrid this and you'd get the standard noise. Was why I posted the info above incase it was a similar issue.
