I've been waiting since 8th sept for a case of missing cashback for confused.com
Initially it's put on ice incase it tracks at a later date then they manually submit it to the retailer, in my case in January.
The say that this process can take several months.

Lol. My one was also submitted to the retailer in January within a week of submitting the claim so that bit was alright for me.
I know it’s different for each retailer. For example, one of the banking ones I did took over a year to finally get my money! I’m not expecting it to take that long for Argos, but was hoping to get other people’s experiences. (edited)
