Deal Alerts useless in app
Last week I updated the HUKD app accidentally and have lost a couple of things that improved functionality.
A few years ago the app used to show you the last 200 keyword deal alerts under the notifications sections and this was then reduced to around 100. On an Amazon Prime Day the 200 alerts limit was useful as you can miss a lot when you are at work. However when it was 100 alerts I would just browse the ‘Highlights’ section and this showed me most of the things I could’ve missed. The Highlights section is gone in the update.
Secondly, when loading into your notifications (keyword alerts) the page used to load on the second or third tab along, this was useful for seeing exactly how many keyword alerts you had. If you had 36 you knew to scroll down two pages, 50 for three pages (20 items for page). However when you click on your notifications now it loads almost in the background so you cannot see how many alerts you had or how many hours ago you last checked. Makes it frustrating for checking alerts and even using this app.
