Hi Before the email is sent, we check each and every deal that appears in the email to verify it is still in stock. We don't get to see stock levels, we can only see if it is available at the time the email was sent, and it's possible there may only have been one or two available, but we have no control over that. It's likely other members who have received the email also think it was a great deal and have opened the email and purchased before you did or could and then it sold out. Disappointing, I know, but at the time an email is sent there is availability.
