HUKD website - hottest deals pane has moved to the right of "For You" column heading.
Site seems to have changed for me today. I seem to be missing side pane widgets. I cant view discussions and see hottest deals pane. Hottest one has moved to the right of "For You" column heading.
Our product team are currently running a test which will only affect a small user group per country, targeting new, guest and logged-in users. Please find some feedback on the test below:
What’s happening? We’re replacing the Hottest Listing widget with the Hottest Listing Tab.
But why, you ask?
We already use the listings in the apps, and we want to inch closer to a cohesive experience.
We want to clean up the page. Users may feel overwhelmed by the constant presence of the deals widget, leading to banner blindness. Moving deals to a tab might alleviate this issue and lead to higher engagement.
How does it work? At the top of the page, you'll see a new tab called hottest. Same functionality as the old widget, except that more deals can be seen.

I prefer the original view. There's a lot of blank space now, and it was easier just to click in and see what the hottest thing was for the day and see any recent discussions.
Hopefully we can customise to our preference in the profile settings?
Same here, any Idea what happened ?
Think I have found solution....go into settings, preferences, default landing page ands select custom. The hottest deals widget is now displayed.
It is terrible, the hottest deals widget has gone and only an activity widget can be selected instead....who uses that ? There is another tab for hottest but it was so much better being able to see the hottest deals widget. Please bring it back
Is the owner of this site trying to cram in as many money making opportunities as possible? Really a list of vouchers now on the right hand side bar instead of the top ten!
come on guys stick the list back up top on on the right hand side. i dont want to go into the hottest deal category everytime i visit the site.
It's frigging horrible. I posted a similar post today but flagged as spam. It's so ironic that the moderators will jump on you for nothing but never clear dead deals up, leaving it to us.

I was resisting the change of font they tried a while back, thankfully everyone resisted that and i think they reverted it lol.
I just hope it goes back to normal again because i have to flick between more tabs where before everything was on the main dash i could quickly see the deals.

The 'For You' tab, which I seem to default to, is now literally half full of free kindle books posted by one person. If that's what they want to do with their time, fair enough but I don't want to see them... If the algorithm 'thinks' I want to see them continuously it's absolutely as dumb as a rock!
HI by bulk voting on Kindle category deals, you're indicating an active interest in those Kindle book threads. The logic being for a cold vote that you might not consider the deal being offered as the best offer available or the best brand/format for that item, but would like to see better deals in the same category for example. Consequently, that deal category will be included in your 'For You' feed as one of your interests.
We advise members that if they are not interested in a deal category, they shouldn't vote on the thread. Not being interested in something isn't a reason for a deal to be considered 'cold,' for example. However, your active vote history is a factor and likely the reason why you are seeing Kindle books in your 'For You' feed."

Hello, I've inadvertently lost my widgets on right hand side of screen (eg The today Hottest deals and then the vouchers one that sits below. Ayyone know how to bring them back pls? Regards
Only way I get it back is to click HOTDEALS (Top Left next to the Flame) then choose "Custom"

This is REALLY irritating. Now I have a 'Custom' view sure, but I browse between Hot and New frequently. I lose this functionality as I can't just 'see' the hottest bar too. Please allow us to revert this 'ghost 'change you have forced upon users, it is really irritating.
I ended up 'closing' the remaining things on the sidebar so now my sidebar is completely empty, how on earth do I get *any* of these back? Why is there not a way to get these back? (edited)
I did exactly same as you indvertently ... Spent ages trying to get it back
Is there any way to bring the carousel back at the top of the screen I dont like having to switch between hottest and hot deals
We have been advised that the current test will end early May, when the team will then review feedback
