Remove the Next Best Price Box or Make it Clearer
Hello,
My request is that you either remove the next best price box or make it clearer to everyone who views this website that the crossed out grey number is in fact the next best price, or is supposed to be the next best price instead of the RRP, because not everyone knows this and they think it is the RRP.
Some of the contributors on here are still using the next best price box to fill it in with the RRP, to make what they share look better in the hopes that what they share is voted up, and it is not always removed. On some of the deals that I have shared I have filled the box with what I have found, or thought to be, the next best price but is has been quickly removed by one of the staff. When the RRP is left in and not deleted by the staff it feels as though not everyone is treated the same on here.
It also does seem to matter which staff member is online and dealing with the threads that are coming through the new section.
Thank you.

A little tip, this field is optional, so if it is added, you do have the option to remove this via a edit of the deal !
The NBP should be the next best 'offer' price for the same, identical item, not the RRP. If a NBP isn't available, then the field can be left blank.
For freebie deals, members can enter 0.01 in the NBP field and then leave the price field blank and this will trigger the orange 'Free' text
I had actually wondered how to list freebies on here because it is not clear how to do so on the submission form.

£5.99 is the normal selling price of that Kindle book title checking the price history (since 18/06/2023) and the NBP isn't the saving on normal retail price, it's meant to illustrate the saving on the next best current offer price for the same like for like item. For Kindle books, this typically means leaving NBP blank, as kindle ebooks are not sold on other platforms, so there is no NBP figure.
