Seems to be working fine, and I defaulted to search results each time, rather than using category options. Quick change in results sort order to 'new' illustrated on later example links.

Trick with search can be to use keywords too, rather than long strings of search terms. The Community team have found the current version of the search engine much more accurate (previously we would have used Google search too sometimes)

Is there any way to search threads to find whether something I wish to discuss has already got a thread on it? I can't see any obvious way to find or search threads on here?

Hi, the search function will offer topics on keywords for deals and discussions. So if you type what your looking for and hit search then select discussions it should then take you to anything posted on that topic.
