    I am encountering the same issue, I'm using the app on a Samsung galaxy note 10 plus and although the app works fine, the get deal button doesn't redirect me to the Web browser. I've deleted and redownloaded the app, messed around with the setting but nothing has seem to sort the issue out

    I have a Samsung S21 using Google Chrome and I've noticed recently that anytime I try to click "Get Deal", I get an error saying "redir.digidip.net sent an invalid response" .

    Does anyone know how to fix this as it's becoming increasingly more frustrating and causing me to miss out on deals? (edited)

    Hi we raised a ticket for investigation last month and the team are looking into this, but having problems replicating the issue. It does appear that Samsung devices are one of the common factors for those members experiencing the issue. Could you please share your device and app software versions and any other information / screenshots and we can add to the existing bug report. Thank you

    Hi can you please share how you are browsing the site - are you using our app; mobile browser or web browser. Can you please provide details and version info and device info

    Also could you upload and share a screenshot or screen recording of what error is displayed. Are you being redirected to the app store for example; or is the link blocked in which case it's most likely an adblocker or VPN protection software that is installed and specific to your local device.

    But we can provide further advice with additional information and I can also merge this chat into an existing discussion if one exists already.

    Hi - I'm not able to give any technical information- I'm an older lady who isn't familiar with it all. Im using my mobile and have done so for several years. I've logged in every day and looked at deals. Today when I pressed the Get Deal button nothing happened. I havnt changed anything since yesterday.

    hi thanks for getting back to me. On your mobile, can you please let me know what type of mobile phone it is  - it is an iPhone or an android model such as a Motorola for example?

    Are you using the hotukdeals app - do you click an app icon on your phone with our logo to open hotukdeals, or do you open a browser such as chrome and then come to the site via a bookmark or google search in the browser.

    Then, when you clicked the deal link, what happened?  Did an error pop-up or was the link just dead, and you just stayed on the same deal window?

    Have you got any extensions on your browser?

    Or changed the settings or antivirus stuff?

    Every time I click an external link Chrome is blocking 'Whalebone'. For example:

    I keep on getting the 'redir.digdip.net' when I click on links, sometimes it does go through to the site , other times it does not want to . This never used to appear, is it harmful, can I stop it ? Is it a virus ?
    Any helpful advice woud be grest, even if it puts my mind at rest.

    Hi could you please let us know what device you are using and if it's via the app when you encounter this error?

    Since I went to 'Digdip' and disabled it, I have had no issues when clicking on links to Amazon, but who knows what is going on in the background ??

    Anyone still having this issue? Im on Opera, I’ve disabled everything but still keep getting blocked. “Redir.digidip.net”.

    Mine seems OK at the moment, but I feel I will come across it again, I now feel very wary about links that are posted on sites like this, even though its a pain, I have started going direct to the site and finding the deal , which is not always that easy.

    While clicking on the deal links it fails to open the link in a new tab and keeps reporting this site cant be reached. The redirect of the page fails at redir.digidip.net. This can be replicated on the phone, desktop pc as well. Location is UK.

    Hi we are very sorry that members are continuing to experience issues with Get Deals links - we did escalate the redir.digidip.net error with the relevant team, and they are investigating the cause. It does seem only a small group of members is experiencing the issue, but the team are looking into it currently.
