What happens if the sponsored post goes cold?

Currently, in the app, under hot, the second entry is a sponsored post for Huawei from a couple of weeks ago.

I've seen other posts like it get pinned and they have a little close/hide link so you can get rid of them, but this sponsored one doesn't.

So... I'm curious what happens to it if it gets voted down to being cold - does it stay there anyway, or does it disappear as it's no longer valid in the hot category? (Or do the mods just fudge it and give it a couple hundred degrees to keep it hot)

I'm not overly bothered by it myself - I figure hotukd is being paid for it, which helps keep the servers running and employees paid.

I'd imagine HotUKDeals would have a clause in the contract between sponsor and themselves saying they're not responsible for the voting on their website, therefore making the contract still valid (if the sponsor agrees to it in the first place) and it's at their discretion if they want to remove it or not, without a refund.
