ASDA Rewards
ASDA Rewards is a reward scheme where you can earn rewards value (“ASDA Pounds”) in an “ASDA Pounds Cashpot" which can subsequently be converted into "Vouchers" for redemption against your shopping in ASDA in stores and with online Grocery Home Shopping ("GHS").
Asda Rewards may not be available at small stores – please see asda.com/small stores for availability. Asda Rewards is not available at Asda Express stores. This means that you can neither earn into, nor use, your “Asda Pounds Cashpot” at these stores.
You can also earn ASDA Rewards through transactions and purchases you make on the ASDA Money Credit Card. The terms and conditions relating to how you can earn ASDA Rewards through spend on ASDA Money Credit Card, and eligible transactions are set out in the ASDA Money Credit Card Reward Terms and Conditions, which can be accessed here: money.asda.com/media/rgajdkmp/202205-asda-reward-terms-and-conditions.pdf.
You can also earn ASDA Rewards each month through credits made to your ASDA Mobile Pay Monthly SIM-Only Service. The terms and conditions relating to how you can earn ASDA Rewards through the Asda Mobile Pay Monthly SIM-Only Service are set out in the Asda Mobile Pay Monthly Terms of Service, which can be accessed here: mobile.asda.com/support/terms-and-conditions
We reserve the right to terminate ASDA Rewards programmes at any time upon giving at least 60 days' notice to you. If we give notice that we are terminating the ASDA Rewards programme, we may stop ASDA Rewards Cashpot earnings immediately, but will provide at least 60 days' notice for you to convert your ASDA Pounds Cashpot to Vouchers. You will then need to use any Voucher you create, or have already created, within the stated Voucher expiry period and subject to the other terms in paragraph 5. Any unused or remaining ASDA Pounds in your ASDA Pounds Cashpot will expire. This right is separate and in addition to, our right to suspend and/or terminate your access to ASDA Rewards programmes under paragraph 11.4 below.
ASDA Rewards Membership
To use ASDA Rewards, you will need to register as an ASDA Rewards Member and hold an ASDA Rewards account.
Membership in ASDA Rewards is voluntary and free of charge.
To join ASDA Rewards you need to have downloaded the ASDA Rewards app to your mobile device or sign up at rewards.asda.com. You agree that you have only downloaded the ASDA Rewards app from the Apple App Store, Google Play, or an authorised ASDA Reward programme link made available to you by ASDA. You can find further information on how the service works, the technical requirements, and any restrictions on the service’s use and compatibility in the service description available on Google Play or Apple App Store.
To register for ASDA Rewards you must provide the following details:
First Name
Email address
Password
Confirmation of password
Marketing preferences
By launching ASDA Rewards and either (i) entering the above details and confirming that you accept these Terms and Conditions; or (ii) providing your email address and password for your current ASDA account and confirming that you accept these Terms and Conditions you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Once you have successfully registered, you will receive your ASDA Rewards account and will have full access and use of the service.
Once you have joined ASDA Rewards, you can begin using the ASDA Rewards service immediately, simply by logging on to the ASDA Rewards app or rewards.asda.com by providing your email address and password.
To be a member you must:
be aged 18 years of age or over; and
have a current, valid email account.
It is your responsibility to keep your email and contact details up to date. Failure to do so may lead to your Membership being cancelled.
We apply a limit of one Membership per person. Failure to adhere to this may lead to your Membership being cancelled. ASDA reserves the right to refuse, merge or close additional accounts at any time.
Employees, officers, directors, agents and representatives of ASDA are eligible for Membership but may be excluded from certain promotions.
You may only use ASDA Rewards for personal purposes. ASDA Rewards may not be used for reselling or profit.
12. You must only use ASDA Rewards in the UK. If you are an ASDA customer resident in the Republic of Ireland, you will only be able to redeem your ASDA Rewards in the United Kingdom.
You must only use your ASDA Rewards account for your personal shopping and not apply an ASDA Rewards Membership to any transaction which is not your own.
Moment Saver
The Christmas Moment Saver is an option within ASDA Rewards that allows you to save your Cashpot for spending over certain dates in 2024 during the Christmas period.
You can transfer from your Cashpot to your Christmas Moment Saver Cashpot until the 3rd November 2024 at 11.59pm.
You must be a registered Asda Rewards member to participate in the Christmas Moment Saver.
You may transfer as many times as you like from your Cashpot into you Christmas Moment Saver Cashpot however the maximum amount you can transfer in total into your Christmas Moment Saver Cashpot is £300.00.
Once you have moved your Cashpot into your Christmas Moment Saver, you cannot move it back.
Asda has the right to add extra bonuses into your Christmas Moment Saver or allow you to complete Missions to add to your Christmas Moment Saver. All other Christmas Moment Saver terms still apply.
You can choose to convert your Christmas Moment Saver Cashpot into vouchers to spend either in an ASDA store or online with ASDA between the 8th November 2024 and 31st December 2024. You cannot spend your Christmas Moment Saver Cashpot outside of these dates. All Christmas Moment Saver vouchers have to be spent by the 11.59pm on the 31st December 2024 otherwise they will expire and will no longer be valid. All main Cashpot terms still apply.
Christmas Moment Saver vouchers must be used in a transaction that is equal to or more than the value of the voucher. No change will be given for Christmas Moment Saver vouchers. Vouchers cannot be used to pay for the value of excluded items. Excluded Items: are petrol, all items from a petrol station, postage stamps, tobacco and tobacco related products, gift vouchers and gift cards, lottery, phone top up cards/vouchers, pharmacy, NHS prescriptions and, third party concessions or products; if you reside in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland, alcohol is also regarded as being an Excluded Item.
Balances are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme or the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Earning ASDA Rewards
When participating in ASDA Rewards you can earn ASDA Rewards value, also referred to as ASDA Pounds, into your ASDA Pounds Cashpot (the area in the ASDA Rewards app or rewards.asda.com where value collects) either by:
Purchasing Star Products
A Star Product is a nominated product on which you will earn ASDA Rewards value into your ASDA Pounds Cashpot when purchased (for example, purchasing a specific size, brand and type of cereal), collectively known as Star Products. The ASDA Rewards value earned varies by Star Product.
Star Products may be nominated as such by reference to certain pack sizes, weight variations or other variable to the exclusion of others within the same range.
Star Products are available for a limited time only and when a product is no longer nominated as a Star Product you will no longer earn ASDA Rewards when it is purchased.
To earn ASDA Rewards on Star Products included in your shop, you must have completed the transaction, meaning if you are shopping in-store, payment is completed and you are eligible for a receipt (subject to store opening hours), or if you are shopping online with GHS, you have completed and paid for your order online with no further amendments before 23:50 on the day the Star Product nomination ends. For terms on amended orders, see paragraph 4.6.
Star Products, amounts and dates are clearly displayed on in-store signage, online on GHS and in the Star Products listing in the ASDA Rewards app.
The number of nominated Star Products on offer each time you shop (if any) may vary and all products are subject to stock availability.
Customers in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland are not eligible to earn Cashpot rewards on alcohol in ASDA Rewards promotions and offers Please refer to the terms of all promotions in the Asda Rewards app to check eligibility and earning criteria. This applies to products purchased instore and online.
Completing Missions
A Mission is a task that will earn ASDA Rewards value into your ASDA Pounds Cashpot if you successfully complete it, collectively known as Missions.
Missions are published in the ASDA Rewards app (and from time to time also on signage in ASDA stores and on promotional banners online within GHS). Details are provided on the criteria you need to meet to complete a Mission, such as spending a certain amount or shopping a certain number of times within a certain period of time or on certain types of products.
When you successfully complete a Mission, in line with the completion criteria, you will earn an ASDA Rewards value. The available ASDA Pounds you can earn varies by Mission and is shown in the ASDA Rewards app for each Mission.
Excluded Items will not count towards any Missions. Excluded Items are: petrol, all items from a petrol station, postage stamps, tobacco and tobacco related products, gift vouchers and gift cards, lottery, phone top up cards/vouchers, pharmacy, NHS prescriptions, infant formula, and, third party concessions or products. If you reside in Northern Ireland or the Republic of Ireland, Excluded Items also includes alcohol.
Where a Mission requires spend of a specific amount, the spend amount taken to qualify towards Mission completion is after any other discounts have been applied (for example where items are reduced, where items are free or discounted on promotion (e.g. multibuy) or when using a discount card).
To complete a Mission, all criteria detailed within the Mission must be met before the "Mission End Date" which is shown in the ASDA Rewards app. For a shop to qualify towards a Mission you must have completed the transaction, meaning if you are shopping in-store, payment is completed and you are eligible for a receipt (subject to store opening hours), or if you are shopping online with GHS, you have completed and paid for your order online with no further amendments, before 23:50 on the day the Mission ends. Once the Mission End Date has passed you will no longer be able to earn the ASDA Rewards value for the ended Mission. For terms on amended orders, see paragraph 4.6.
You will not earn anything for partially completed or incorrectly completed Missions. You can view and track your personal progress through Missions in the ASDA Rewards app.
The number of Missions available to you at any time (if any) may vary.
We cannot guarantee stock availability at the time you shop and if a required product to complete a Mission is not available at the time you shop there is no alternative
