More games should come out like this with the season pass included. Bought!

Well, it's the Ultimate Edition of the game. The Ultimate edition of any game usually includes the Season Pass. It is not included in the Standard version of the game.

Does it come with Halo Wars DE for Windows 10? There are some conflicting comments here :(

Yes it does. I have downloaded and am playing Halo Wars DE on my PC, Halo Wars 2 & The Season Pass are also showing available to download on my PC.

Ive been in contact with Microsoft support and they said the promotional period is over, so just broght Halo Wars DE on Steam, got a refund from Amazon in the end after a back and forth with Microsoft... they should say somewhere that you can't get it for PC but you can for Xbox

I think your getting mixed up with the windows only version, this is for the xbox one with Windows10 cross play.

anyone know if these will still have manufacturer warranty? Presumably this is the first time they have been retailed so full MS warranty will hopefully apply. Microsoft are normally very good on Surface warranty support which would make this more attractive.

If you check your local staples (well, Office Depot or whatever they call themselves now), they have been selling off their ex-display stock.
I picked up an i5/4gb/128gb Surface Pro 3 for under £300.
Check uk.webuy.com, and under £300 for lower end SP3 is hardly a steal.

It's not the low end one, and on webuy.com it's £450 - https://uk.webuy.com/product.php?sku=STABMICS3I5128G2A#.WQHIDlLMxTI

My K750 arrived today and I must say it's pretty great, it's quiet, firm (bending only when I'm pushing on the centre with both hands actively trying to bend it), and feels pretty great. My only irritation so far is I haven't found a function lock key yet so have to press Fn for media functions, normally I use those way more than the F keys.

*edit* found the button, but you also have to modify some config files to stop logitech's software from swallowing media keys. By default it does something retarded like try to pass through the media keys to programs itself.

I'm looking for a quiet keyboard for the office, usually I'd pick a mechanical using cherry browns but I doubt they'd be quiet enough.

This ones pretty quiet and has my favourite key action of any i've tried. Sort of laptop style but with more firmness. In terms of noise it's mostly the contact noise of your fingers hitting the keys, so it's similar volume to the noise you'd get if you typed on any hard plastic surface. The power can be topped up fully in a few hours of direct sunlight if it ever gets that low in weeks of darkness and the battery is replaceable but just not designed as such so you kind of have to break it out of its slot.

You're comparing apples with cherries
*facepalm* :P

The point though is if I'm buying a keyboard I normally go for quality key action, hence I'm using IBM model Ms, but if I ever took one to an office they'd smack me over the head with it for being too noisy. Cherry browns with o-rings are probably as quiet as you can get and still be mechanical.

To go even quieter and retain a reasonable feel you need scissor switches which're used in most laptops and some keyboards like this and the apple keyboard.

Why on earth would you want to do that?
So it doesn't get to the stage where you have to keep cleaning the walls.. It takes less than 5 mins to dry the tiles so no more watermarks or limescale. Does that answer your question (_;)
Have you heard of bleach? Talk about OCD
Talk about the lazy option.
Wiping down tiles doesn't take long, saves time later on, but I just use a squeegee.
Once a week the bathroom get a clean with the steam cleaner, never any need for chemicals.

There's a big difference between laziness and using common sense.

Those sequences can be a little tricky (there's a few more of them) but they're not as hard as they look and after dying a few times, you do get the pattern and get through it which is hugely satisfying when you nail it.

My Xbox credit was expiring and I bought this at full price which I don't regret in the slightest, it's been one of my favourite games this generation for the beautiful visuals, excellent soundtrack and tight controls. The game can be punishing and unforgiving but with frequent use of save points you can die a lot without losing anything and the game doesn't feel unfair as the controls are great, when you get the feel of the game it's immensely satisfying pulling off complex jumping sequences.

Loved the game until that damn water escape. Ruined the game for me.
I too loved this game, gave up at the same point, got the def edition, played it on easy and still got stuck at a later point, would love to finish it but my gaming time is far too limited to waste it banging my head against a wall :(
Exactly my thoughts! I can't spare the time to do the same thing over and over.

If the recent trend continues it'll be on sale in a few weeks.
I think this is a deal for £12.49 8) Considering most remastered games cost between £20 and £30!

73 Metascore and 7.8 User Score is good. It is a well loved classic for the original Xbox, reason why they have remastered it. It is not going to win any game of the year awards but it is fondly remembered.
What's the deal?
Is this the rrp or is there a saving cause if it's rrp then not a deal :/

Would not buy one of these again in a million years. Read rave reviews. I got one a while back the 32GB eMMC storage out of the box, was not even enough to install an essential Win 10 update even after deleting what programs I could off it. You need additional external storage.
ie: A device that out of the box, hasn't even enough space to run updates for the OS should not be on sale.
Avoid.
Yeah this was a massive problem for me. I switched from a chrome book and I wish I hadn't!!
Bought a used 2009 MacBook Pro for £200 off eBay. waaaayyyyyy better with an SSD
I found the last HP Chromebook I had incredibly slow too to be honest. N22. People raved about the battery life but there just wasn't enough RAM and the EmmC storage sucked.
That's a bit unfair to HP. The N22 was a Lenovo device.

Apologies I forgot.
This laptop still retails for £179 so for what the price is it's a hot deal. There's a reason these are still for sale since they were released early 2016. Yes they might not be fit for some people, but for others they obviously are.
Speaking from experience, I bought one and am using it to type this reply, all updates are complete and its coping just fine.
This is not something to buy in place of a high spec'd tablet or laptop - hence the price.

It's not bad but I'd just be tempted to sack the extra 3 inches of space and the keyboard for a Core M3-6XXX or a Core M3-7XXX tablet. Should you need a stylus, both are Wacom compatible and you could probably pickup a keyboard cheap.

I don't see why not, it will be cra* otherwise, it usually goes with a nasty dull display
So you're saying all 1366x768 screen are crap and all FHD screens are wonderful?
Not necessarily, but it's well know that the same screen is fitted to a variety of machines and there seems to be a particularly nasty screen of this resolution going round with low contrast. Low viewing angle. But it is surprising what a difference this makes. Besides movies in HD, you just can't fit so much on the screen.
Like HD ready tvs, why do manufacturers still do it?
Because at less than 40 inch the non-AV snobs don't care? I think that HD ready is fine. Yes full hd, backlit keyboards, etc. are nice, but on budget machines they are rare for a reason. Give me HD ready plus decent CPU & ram over FHD & a processor less powerful than one likely to be found in a high end calculator in a few years.
IMO, it's consumer ignorance. This machine ticks all the other obvious boxes, but not this one, sometimes they don't even mention it. Caveat Emptor (^ ^)

But that doesn't explain why people pay the same price for substantially less performance. You wouldn't pay premium Audi prices for a Nissan Micra because you want something small and nifty - you pay based on performance and reliability. Loved the Q6600 mine fried after cpu fan led snapped gutted!
Looks like a nice case, just bought one for my upcoming ryzen build. My 10 year old Q6600 system is long overdue for an upgrade! Thanks OP
Great price. Been using the non-windowed version for 3 years and it's a good case, lots of space and easy to get your parts installed, but I do wish it had a cover for the top which is just a bent mesh panel full of holes that let dust in.

This is a great price for a great little tablet, although I'd be tempted just to spend the extra for the 10v64 with the extra 2GB RAM and extra 32GB storage.
Either way, heat.

And by implication of the name, it's also the 64-bit version of Windows 10 as well. Doesn't provide a huge benefit on this fondleslab, but might in future.

Refurbished not new. Old computer keyboards can be very dirty even if they look clean to the naked eye.
True but a brand new replacement is normally around 25 quid if it really bothers you. Personally the worst thing about second hand laptops is the drive and battery condition as these tend to be more money to replace
Changing a keyboard on a Lenovo laptop is not easy. You can end up doing more damage than just changing the keyboard, thanks to the joy stick in the middle of the keyboard. Opening Lenovo/IBM laptops to upgrade is not for the faint hearted.
Not true, they are designed in fact to be incredibly easy to take apart, just one single screw holding the keyboard on most Lenovo Thinkpads.
These are the top business line. Costed over £600 when new

It's still a good deal.

Your not going to see the keyboard in the dark anyway.

USB3 for high speed video recording.

A few more usb2's for peripherals that you cannot control wirelessly.

Shame about the lack of bluetooth for those you can but it's a easy and cheap add.

Massive battery life so you can keep going all night.

12" nice and portable so it easy to take to site but not so small you cannot see your charts.

A fraction the cost of a toughbook.

Was looking at these a year or ago they were more than this.

Would be straight in the cart if I did not have other stuff going on.

They probably have Bluetooth, although not listed.

The Lenovo X61 range was built like tank, Lenovo X200/X201/X220/X230 models is built like crap, the lid split into two pieces meant the top part of the lid is prone to breaking off, the Lenovo X240 model reverted back to the standard one piece back lid.
They may not be as well built as the X61, but they are certainly not built like crap, in fact, they are still some of the toughest laptops on the market

And increasing profit is the name of the game ;)

You bloody cynic ! -Think you might just be right though :¬)

They had to give Win 9 (ooopps I meant 10) for free because it was so full of bugs, this wasn't fit (for purpose) i.e. to be paid for. Everyones been an unpaid beta tester for the last year (with full telemetric data and OS functioning and tracking back to MS).

Got one the other day for the lower price on Amazon. Updated it as per the advice and it went all the way to the anniversary update which promptly lost the network adapter. Tried new drivers chipset and realtek but no joy so have rolled the op sys back.

Which has now restored the network adapter....

Beware and don't update all the way to anniversary till they have the fix.
There's one on Amazon. 64.99 refurbished.

Are these actually any good with game streaming like all the advertising fath suggests?

These are great tablets.
I managed to run mirrors edge 1 directly on the tablet via steam (installed to the tablet). Was around 34fps at high graphics if I recall.

The tablet kept crashing if I threw too much at it, so I ended up selling.

But for £70, I would consider this again. Should run the ps4 remote play desktop app as well.

This compares very well with the Nintendo Switch as a portable gaming device yet is about the same cost as the Switch pro controller on its own. More cpu processing power and a lot longer battery life. May even be possible to emulate up to Gamecube or even wii level if you want the Nintendo game experiences.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Dw-Jj9Daxk

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5m_GLXEg1U

GPU a lot weaker though about 90 gflops vs about 150 or 200 gflops in Switch portable mode. This sits between Vita and Switch in gpu performance terms.

OP I'm afraid the deal is not great for some. It's last generation specs with the 6 series processor and the 9XX series graphics card.
A HP Omen posted the other day was £899, which had an i7 7700HQ and a 1050Ti which isn't far off a 980M and it came with an xbox elite controller so effectively £800. So I'd imagine you could probably get the i7 and 1060 for 1200 so why wouldn't you?
Perhaps the quality isn't the same, I've not seen either in person, but if I was a betting man that'll be why this has gotten cold. Expensive laptop deals always go one way or another.

I have this and can't recommend it. The sleep is way too aggressive. I can easily move the mouse a few CM without it waking up. This leads to many infuriating situations where I want to move a few pixels to press a button, and it doesn't.

Sent it back, had a replacement, same issue. If you need any sort of precision, stay away. I'm keeping it in my bag of spares for when I'm fixing other PC's now.

You really need to badger curry's as they are happy to take your cash but not help you if things go wrong. Even with their own insurance on high value electrics they do a well below par service. I had to threaten them in the past with trading standards.

Personally, there are cheaper options for this spec.

Plenty of the Chuwi tablets at around £100 to £200. The Linx 10v64/12v64 both have Atom X5/4gb ram variants but you sacrifice 64gb storage but it'd still be cheaper with buying a 64gb micro sd card.
