There are plenty of DP to HDMI 2 adapters out there that supports HDCP 2.2 The HDMI 1.4 port will also support 4k @ 30fps, which a great deal of content still comes in at. It's only if you need the full 60fps experience that HDMI 2 is required. The HD 610 GPU will also support just about every file format out there with hardware acceleration, so it makes for a very good HTPC and is powerful enough for general use PC stuff too, with expansion of both storage and memory. Review here will show more, including a tear down. http://freaktab.com/forum/tv-player-support/intel-based-tv-players/729074-vorke-v5-plus-win10-intel-3865u-4gb-ddr4-ram-64gb-ssd-hdmi-dp-ac-wifi-gig-lan-bt4-2-usb-3-0
What about hdcp ? Most 4k content is protected. Done this and it does not work due to hdcp issues. It will never be a htpc.
I'm guessing that your tongue was firmly in your cheek then lol
Nice little machine, heat added. As an aside, people on here need to get a grip and recognise that no product can be all things to all men.
I just use the built in apps to stream from my NAS via DLNA. No need for anything else.
