Direct comparisons to PC prices for Switch games are pretty pointless imo
exactely never understand why people do this
Payed £1 for this on PC and run it at 1080P on my windows tablet. So its still portable for me.
Great but I can also play Arms and Breath of the Wild on the Switch which are two of my favourite games. Each to their own.
Afterall, on business trips people often mostly worry about not their paperwork, laptops and mobile phone, they're concerned about their nintendo switches. Sod the the ipads also.
I rolled my eyes at the nintendo adverts for the switch which depicted a utopia where only millennials with their model looks lived in high rise new york apartments. These ethnically diverse millionaires in their 20's casually invite each other to come have parties on rooftops so the girl with the poofy hair can cheer on as two diverse gender neutral people can play mario kart. Oh and the abercrombie and fitch male models who would rather stop playing a game of basketball so they can jump on a virtual game of basketball on the switch (which is not even released yet from what I know).
Ah yes, the reality according to nintendo and apple never ceases to amaze me.

Depends on how much you value convenience. As I said, I have never and will never play it on PC, but getting it on Switch I will play it when I'm on a plane or out and about. Portable PC gaming is possible but not as convenient since a tablet lacks integrated controls. Depends how much you value convenience and how it fits with your lifestyle. Without the Switch's USP I would 100% agree with you but it has revolutionised gaming for me and I'm happy to pay a premium for that.
As I said, each to their own.
That's part of the issue though - The obligatory "switch tax" just compounds things
Don't be. I only meant most of what I said.
Don't do that. Don't be passive aggressive and rude. My opinion on a game has nothing to do with you, it is quite sad you're interjecting trying to be smart.
When it's yet another re-issue of an old game that can be had much cheaper elsewhere I think it's a fair comparison. If it's new games maybe not so much
£25 for - definitive or not - a game of this calibur is HOT.
Gaming is in danger of going even further down the toilet due to it becoming less about fun or artistic expression and more about making money and eeking as much cash out of customers as possible through DLC and lazy rehashed yearly franchises (assassins creed, Fifa, COD etc).
I mean, the news leak today about Nuni kuni 2 having a season pass... Grrr... That really grinds my gears...
This is a budget price for a switch game
for most console as well, unless sony and microsoft started selling new release at 24.99 and no one told me.
but i do get his point, with it being such and old game it really should of included origins as well or been £20 at most
peopel also dont seem to get/remember that games are a lot cheaper than the snes/n64 days more so if you add inflation.
new games (unless budget) have never been £25 even 20-30 years ago (edited)
It was at least this much when it came out on the xbox one and it was an old game then.
I'm sure it's better they port the game and charge this than just don't bother.
If you haven't played it it is definitely worth paying this.
I'm not buying this but it isn't full price. And gaming has been (in the main) about making money since Nintendo launched the NES.
u ok hun?
Hot!
Oh dear.

I mean, where do you start with a long diatribe like that?
