Dude it's a brief 1 liner comment and I even gave the deal heat! I have not told anyone not to buy it either, so don't really know why your saying that. Of course people will and should make up their own mind, after being given the right to consider ALL the opinions, not just the ones that reflect your own.

Is horizontal multiplayer enabled or is it still vertical only? I hate vertical. The old Mario karts were always better horizontal. Can't believe they changed it. I was gutted

If your going to play it when you are out & about then yes. But if its only going to be used at home then no.

@daveykinetic it is vertical by default. Don't think there is a horizontal option. At least unlike the Wii U v.1 and v.2 you can now play v.3 local player on 2 tablet screens (probably the best way to play local multiplayer).

No, you can do 2 player split-screen on 1 Switch (tabletop mode)

Thanks OP. Kids (and I) will be ecstatic when this gets delivered.

Been swithering about this all day, having as I do the Wii-U version with DLC. Decided the portability and likelihood of longer online support would make it worthwhile.
Also, should be easy to sell on for a decent price if I tire of it.

Definitely agree with the single player. Half the fun was unlocking things, but with them all unlocked the game felt pointless... Great for multiplayer though!
