No it was just a 33% off promotion over a weekend which brought the price down to £34.50 but people obviously weren't keen at the time haha

I'm playing this just now and I feel the praise is justified.

Lots of fun, quite challenging in parts.

My only complaint is that you can't jump in between battles. Not jumping everywhere with Mario on the screen feels wrong. (edited)

I agree it deserves the priase, I like being able to sort of explore between battles and explore the world , I like the humour elements and can imagine kids would enjoy watching someone play this as the art style and colour palette is very pleasing

Apparently takes about 20+ hours to finish so it's a good length for the price

You could have had this from the ubisoft store for £27.99 over the weekend. Needed points but if you game then chances are you have them.

The store sale seems to be fairly frequently so might be worth waiting for again if you're in no rush.

Can anyone tell me if you need to buy extra controllers to play this or just the 2 it comes with?

There are lots of copies cheaper than this on eBay. Just got one for £29 there.

Fantastic game. First Switch game I ever played, feels so satisfying to play and polished.
