double negative, so its playable on switch?
anyway isnt joycon almost same as normal controller, i dont see any problem
So you're getting it on PC then? Lol
bash your head off the wall a few times and you are getting a feel for it
Snap I've got a feeling it's going to be like this for at least the next 3 months
I agree really, that and I don’t want to rage break my console. I’ll be picking it up on PS4 for the frame rate alone. Good price though!
That was iPad predictive text which is horrible , but not sure why you’d point that obvious mistake out to make your point .......
the main problem with joy cons is the l1/l2 buttons are too small and close together for this type of game , but the buttons are also too small and the whole thing isn’t comfortable for a game that requires precise inputs . It would be fine using pro controller or hori pad but if your playing it docked you may as well get the better looking /running version on ps4/Xbox/ pc
I was genuinely confused by your initial post and I also don't see what MobileMe has to do with anything.
Also, don't knock it until you've tried it - I'm sure someone has actually bothered to test the Switch version so I daresay the game has been optimised for its controllers.
I have tried it , I own a switch and played Zelda and Mario for over 50 hours each and I enjoyed them much more once I got a hori pad (wish it was the propad but ouch that price)which was a lot better to use than the joycons . I have also played every dark souls game for well over 200 hours each on PS3 ps4 and Xbox controllers . Don’t get me wrong the joy cons are fine for a lot of things , but not great for this
I am the same in that I’ve completed demons souls, all the dark souls and bloodborne. I can see your point regarding the switch controller input and frame rate, but for me the appeal is that I can bring this version on the go. Your points are valid but if you already spent 200 plus hours playing this game, aren’t you only getting a upgraded version of it on PS4? Mind you I can see me smashing the switch after losing 1000000 souls .......... (edited)
I wanted a mobile switch version too especially after trying to play boodborne on the vita with remote play and finding that unplayable without l2/r2 , but the joy cons aren’t much better which takes the mobile thing out of the equation for me.
I know the pc/ps4 version is only going to be better visuals/fps but any excuse to play this game again lol , I even have 2 psn accounts so I could platinum them all again (sad I know)
Yes, I get that you have played Dark Souls (so have I) and I get that you have played on a Switch (so I have) but you haven't played Dark Souls on a Switch, have you?
I didn't think Rocket League would be playable with Joycons but I was happy to be proved wrong and I'd be happy to be proved wrong again.
I have a PS4 pro, Xbox one x and switch. I’ll probably get the best looking version of this game (according to digital foundry) as well - now that’s sad
Also want to see what the frame rate is like on Switch before I preorder. Could get it on PS4 but I only ever really play on the Switch these days, portable around the house is just so good!
It doesn’t compare to anything- other games are dark souls like. It is very challenging but rewarding. You have to level your character up using souls gained from killing NPC’s. You can then gradually inch your way forward. It’s a game you will hate, but the feeling you get from defeating an enemy or boss makes it all worth it! I strongly recommend it 👌
For some reason the Switch gets me into playing old games like this again.
In a good way though...
Yeah, I think it is ease of access and portability. Also, have on PC and deliberating on whether it is worth buying on Xbox One or PS4. But I think I am gonna go for Switch levelling up etc would be great when I have a spare 5 mins.
